Actually, I would like to fight all that. In fact, the only reason I posted to see if any of this was real was because I bought the game just to have HUGE ass-kicking fights but most of the fights in the game are boring to me.
Uh… the only part I see in the trailer that doesn’t happen is the part at the very beginning where they’re confronted by the massive group of enemies… of course that doesn’t happen… would you want to fight that many badasses AND The Hive? Every other part of the trailer were actual encounters.
When does any of this actually happen in the game? I played through it and the only thing that was real in here was when they were driving the cars at the end.

Who ever is ranting on this game because of the graphics, go kill yourself. It’s called a style you dumb asses.
You’re right it’s not cel shading. They just take the 3d models and paint them in Photoshop so it LOOKS like it’s cel shaded, but then they can call it something else. What happened to the characters, they went from models that looked like they would be packing guns, to models that look like something you would see working at Hot Topic. It’s a fun game, but I don’t think it looks better with “stylistically painted textures with a black outline rendered around objects”,or faux cel shading.
There’s nothing wrong with cel shading. The problem is this game looked completely different when they first started letting the magazines get their hands on it. The characters all got anorexic and lanky and the guns look like something from Who Framed Rodger Rabbit. It just doesn’t look like a serious game anymore, it looks like Jet Grind Radio….but with guns!!!

I liked how it looked before the graphics changed. It looked grittier and more Mad Max-esque. After seeing this clip I might be able to get over it though.
