One of the many memories I have of gaming is when my older brother and his friends (4 or more at a time) would get together and play Super Punch Out all night just to try and beat each other’s times, and some had opponents that only they really knew and were good against.
They played the shit out of that game and had near world-record times a long time before things like that really became public.

I was a kid in the late 70’s(and still am;),nearly all my paper route money went into Space Invaders(1979)when i was 12,then Galaxian, Pacman and Galaga.Those were the days.
