besides a story, games are just improvements (hopefully) of older games. unless you make another genre.
you’re totally right about the dedicated servers. the majority of people are addicted to it regardless (minus pc users)
im not saying mw2 is overrated. the fps genre has been hyped, which leads to so many orders. its basic marketing pull strategy.

Not dismissing every review here, just saying that Gamespot, IGN and all these other reviewers simply eat up every new FPS and dismiss actual GOOD games like Star Ocean.
