i think i understand what the game designers were thinking. Whenever a real surfer gets hit by a wave he/she falls off. i think they were just micking this fact, which sucks for the game players.

Remember that this is filmed. The NES controller is probably a lot more common then something like a Turbo controller or the Advantage. Would you rather throw that, or a regular controller just for a (very awesome) ’shitty game’ review series?
I just realized that he’s using a regular NES controller at 6:17, even though he said to put it away it in favor of controllers with turbo buttons.
The only good thing about this game was that Tim and Geoff Follin composed the music.
